Southview Lane - The primary road that services all of the residents of Southview Housing Development

The entry to the Southview Housing Development is north of Florence Oregon at milepost marker 181 on Highway 101.  When turning into Southview from this point, one first encounters a gated access barrier where an access code is required to proceed further into Southview.  After the gate, Southview Lane leads directly to all 27 established residences except for two that make use of a spur road.  Southview Lane is a little over 2/3 of a mile in length and loops back on itself at the northern end.  The lowest elevation is at the entry gate (205 ft.) and the highest elevation occurs at the northern loop (466 ft.).  Click on the map link just below to see how Southview Lane is configured.

Since Southview Lane is a private road owned by the Southview Home Owners Association (HOA), its maintenance is the sole responsibility of the Association.  A significant portion of the annual HOA member fees is spent on maintaining Southview Lane and the adjoining Spur road.
