Southview's HOA Bylaws (Article VIII) & CC&R's (Article V) specify in detail the provisions and process for the Southview Board of Directors to establish and collect assessments.  Assessments fall into two categories, namely Annual Assessments and Special Assessments.  The Annual Assessment is established after the adoption of a budget for the upcoming fiscal year.  The Annual Assessment for 2023-24 fiscal year was $3,025 ($1,500-HOA & $1,525-SID) per lot.
